Homework due next Week
Reading
Read Chapter 4.
Group Manual Homework
Develop a Project Description, Design Specifications and Design Description. The requirements for these are shown on page 83, Section 3.3 of your book. Each of these three items should be long enough to develop the issue completely. The Design Description requires preparing drawings to go with your work. The drawings should be reduced if necessary to fit on an 8 ½ x 11 report format. This is to be handed in next week. This is a group effort, and you all will be graded on it.
Prepare a contract letter to go in the manual. All your group members must sign the contract letter along with me. I am the client in each case. See Appendix D on page 259 in your book for a sample of how to make this letter.
Also, please hand in the “List of Drawings”, “List of Tasks” and the “Bar-Chart Schedule” and the budget..
30% Pin-Up Next Week
Refine all your drawings in sketch form. Add at least one new sheet per student.
All sketches should be a minimum size of 18” x 24”.
We’ll begin putting this on CAD next week after the 30% Review.
